INTEROPERABILITY DEVICE LIBRARY

Novus Labs has built and maintained an inventory consisting of thousands of 3rd party consumer electronics devices (phones, tablets, PCs, soundbars/speakers, AVRs, Access Points, and more) to interface and test with to ensure real world performance.

The Audio Test Tools developed by Novus Labs provide a set of robust, flexible and precise automation tools for performance and functional end-to-end system level testing for a wide range of audio applications. The tools provide scientific methodology to exercise the underlying systems and capture metrics related to real world environmental conditions. We are accustomed to creating new ways to leverage these tools and create new ways to address the needs of emerging technologies and applications.

AUTOMATED VOICE VALIDATION FRAMEWORK (AVVF)

Novus Labs developed the Automated Voice Validation Framework (AVVF) which is designed to measure the performance of Automated Speech Recognition (ASR) enabled devices, regardless of ASR engine, service, or platform.

GLITCH ANALYSIS

Software tool that is able to perform glitch and dropout analysis on pre-recorded audio files played on any device with a speaker. Audio files can be any frequency sine wave and runs on all flavors of Linux with any hardware.

DISTRIBUTED AUDIO

Software tool developed to analyze desync between any number of speakers in a multi-room audio setup. This tool can integrate with the Glitch Analysis tool to perform additional testing, and runs on all flavors of Linux with any hardware.

ALEXA BUILT-IN PRE-CERTIFICATION

Using the Amazon Qualification Tool (AQT), Novus Labs engineers are able to facilitate all of the Self-Test requirements prior to submittal to Amazon for final Certification of an AVS enabled device. This program leverages the infrastructure and experience of our team to meet all requirements for successful product adoption of the Alexa Built-In Badge:
